Well, the official answer about their hair color is that none of the others actually have that hair color. Only the Storm Knight is stated to have blue hair. Most other hair colors are not mentioned in the novels. It's just that the artists colored them that way. Like anime logic where protagonists with blue hair actually have black hair, I assume... To make it look more distinct. XD
Otherwise, a bunch of the other knights would be mentioned dyeing their hair. Moon too, with his "purple" hair.
But this does bring up a point about Leaf's hair. Since the first Leaf was a half elf, I wonder why it didn't become well known that the Leaf Knight has green hair. They don't seem to be focused on finding a Leaf Knight with green hair.
What do you think Ceo's original hair color was? For his sake, I hope it was a very light color. XD
As for how magic works in LSK, people seem to have an infinity for certain elements. They have their own reserve, but they also use up the elements from their surroundings. (Some people are better at gathering elements) So if people use a lot of the holy element, it will be taken from their surroundings and they might end up with a lack of holy element, causing an imbalance of elements. Which ultimately resulted in the current situation with the dark element going out of control. Not enough people want to use dark element, while too many people are using holy element.
If only the public view on dark element could be changed, perhaps they could one day avoid the need of a demon king.

Eeep, I'm the 'unofficial' answer then. I think that Icicle and the other artists coloured them that way simply because of what lucathia said above. I am of the logic that artists do it for the flair, the dramaticness and frankly, to not have the Twelve Holy Knights with hair colors as distinct as their leaders in the legends, is a terrible misfortune. If it was to happen. Hmm, I think Storm is most distinctly known because he 'embodies' freedom, and in one of the volumes (or side stories) that he tracks down freedom organizations, firing up their spirits but subtly swaying their objectives with the Church of the God of Light also. Moon is so pretty, like with ridiculously long and pretty hair. I bet it's like silk. I digress however. Elmairy is a unique case, as his predecessors also. I like to have a little fancanon, the fact that he was an elf would be...well, I don't doubt that some of the general populace were wary of elves, and Silvester, somehow, unable to convince Half-Leaf, maybe because of Carol being sensible to Silvester's impracticality. I think he dyed his hair, to a less notable color. Or at least camouflaged it with some sort of illusion. Holy light I recall, is one of the elves' gifts with magic, and Half-Leaf is proficient in holy light (I think from somewhere?)
I think...hm, Ceo's hair used to be a light brown to be honest. Maybe one with a few golden highlights and short, before he had to be like the Storm Knight. Red hair is too...ugh, for Ceo, I can't picture him like that. With hair like fire and eyes like the forest, he would burn himself up. Terribly un-punny I know. XP.
Hmm...the complete and utter conditioning that dark element is 'bad' stems partially from dark elves and the people who went insane from it...what if Grisia overhauled that...hmm...

Ah, who knows? For all we know, pink, green, white or purple hair might be perfectly normal for people in LSK. Perhaps it is just blue that doesn't happen naturally.

Oh I just remembered. Apparently Vidar is the name of a Chinese tissue box company...very interesting name choice.

Just a thought. We all know Grisia loves blueberries, but how does he prefer them? Eating them raw? In cakes? In pies? As a lollipop? As chocolate/other sweet? As shaved ice? As jam?...I should probably reread all the volumes and find out how many times each type of food comes up.

Hum...I think I read somewhere that Grisia doesn't actually like to eat them raw, he likes them only as flavouring? He definitely likes cheesecake though. O.O You're going to read through all the novels to count how many times he eats? I praise you, CherryChimchim you're definitely dedicated! I don't think he has it often as jam, oh wait, that time Adair managed to figure it out and he had to give a sermon...right! He mostly has strawberry lollipops for Pink (I hate her so much right now...and I liked her once!), I don't think cakes as much, pies yes in every time they're in the bathroom.

Okay everyone, I have the results for Grisia's blueberry preferences. A few notes first, I only counted the ones which explicitly stated "blueberry" or "blueberries". This is a tally of each instance the type of food comes up (mentioned by any character), so some may be referring to the same piece of food, but I decided to count it this way as a lot of the time, the food would be mentioned generally and it's a little difficult to tell if it was referring to that piece of food or something else. I have also counted the ones in the side stories translated thus far. Of course, the tallies below are subject to change since the volumes haven't been fully translated yet (plus, there's also the 39th generation stories). If anyone wants to know, I can also make another tally with different guidelines if you don't think this is accurate enough. I shall update this once V8 is finished.
Blueberry Shaved Ice- 6 Blueberry Pastry- 1 Blueberry Dessert- 8 Blueberry Jam- 1 Blueberry (Jam) Sandwich- 6 Blueberry Pie- 18 Blueberry Biscuits- 6 Blueberry Chocolate- 4 Blueberry Bread- 3 Blueberry Lollipop- 14 Blueberry Cake- 4 Blueberry Cookie- 1 Blueberries- 3
The obvious winner is of course Blueberry Pie, but amazingly it is followed closely by Blueberry Lollipop (Charlotte's influence mainly). The rest have been left far behind. (Also, I think Volumes 2 and 6 had the most mentions of food)

Guys, I'm going to ask you a question:
What kind of professions do you think the characters of LSK would have in real life? Or in a game similar to Second Life? What type of styles would they adopted? Would Grisia have long or short hair? Would Ceo be forced into classes making him less scared of girls? Which characters do you think would be female or genderbent? Would they have worse lifestyles or better? What kind of homelife would they have? Or what kind of dreams would they have? Hopes? Dreams? What kind of grades would they have? What would they be like to siblings for instance? Would Aldrizzt be found and saved by Neo again? Or will Laica find Lesus? Is Ecilan a girl or boy? Would Adair be as faithful to Grisia as he is in LSK? Would Pink still play a major role in Grisia's life? What type of clothing would they usually wear? Which countries do you think would they be most likely in? Would they meet? And which ones? Who would have sisters and who would have brothers? Who would be most affected, personality wise? Would they stay true to their Holy Knight Persona through some way? Or would they be truly themselves? Who would be the most athletic? Who would be good at cooking? Who would remember first? Who would be able to stay faithful to their past relationships? Etc.
(Fyi, this is all possible information for a fanfic, it may or may coalesce into a fic. I have managed to pinpoint some things but vastly, it is underfed in terms of possible answers and info.)

Wow, that would be some fanfic. Let me have a think about it and I will attempt to answer all those questions in a later post. However, I do believe that their personas as the Twelve Holy Knights would appear as the masks that they wear everyday, the facades they hide behind just like everyone else. But they would be brought together somehow no matter what, since fate is just like that.

I think I will answer those questions one at a time. So first off...
What kind of professions do you think the characters of LSK would have in real life?
Grisia- With his powers of manipulation and charisma...definitely a politician. Ceo- Haha, he would be the CEO of a company! Sorry, no, he would probably become a secretary for the CEO. Elmairy- He would still be an absolute sweetheart and work as a volunteer for soup kitchens for poor or homeless people, and go out of his way to personally make the food and ensure everything is properly seasoned so that everyone would enjoy it. Chikus- The coach of a football team. More likely, a top tier football player. Georgo- A critic...of everything. Demos- For some reason, I just keep thinking that he would be really good at robotics and make little models or something. Lesus- Probably a lawyer. But more likely the judge of the high court. He is good at finding out the truth, but I don't think he would be as good or as comfortable arguing for a particular case. Especially if his client was the criminal. Ecilan- I can just imagine him participating in something like Cake Boss and absolutely owning the show. He would finally achieve his dream of becoming a professional baker. Vival- I don't know what he is like...but perhaps a film director. No idea why. Laica- I see this one as a rebellious soldier in the army. Aivis- I hear he is good at diplomacy. So I nominate him as the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Roland- A bodyguard. That's probably it.
Neo might be an Olympic athlete. And Aldrizzt would be a professor. The Pope would remain the Pope.

Or in a game similar to Second Life? (I take it this is asking what profession they would have.) Grisia- Priest, sit in the back and enjoy the breeze. Alternatively mage. He shouldn't make the same mistake twice. Ceo- With his speed, I would say thief, but maybe just an agility-based warrior. Elmairy- Archer. I'm tempted to say bard since he can sing a song and turn someone into a porcupine. Actually, bard. Chikus- Definitely a warrior. Imagine him doing anything else like trying to summon skeletons. He would probably freak out more than Doll. Georgo- Barrier master. Like Yun. Demos- Thief...but he wouldn't steal anything. I haven't done races for the others but he would definitely be a wind spirit. Even less conspicuous than usual. Lesus- Warrior. Is there anything else more suitable? Ecilan- Baker. They don't all have to kill things to gain experience right? Vival- Um, this is a bit hard...He wouldn't be a warrior, but a thief doesn't seem likely either...He might be a bard too. Laica- Thief. I feel this is well suited to his style. Aivis- I'd like to say he would be a rock spirit, but I feel he'd be more like Ugly Wolf and become a priest. Roland- Warrior. No question.
Neo is the warrior, Aldrizzt the mage, and the Pope the priest. How fitting. I would say that the factions would separate to form separate teams, though this brings an interesting thought...which team would win out of the two? They both have similar team composition, so long as Grisia is a priest. But even if he was a mage...he might not get the chance to finish chanting an AOE spell before he gets killed so who knows?
