Does anybody think that Adair might possibly be the God of Light? It's a possible route to go down on, and I think that the vice-captains would have interesting lives to lead. Especially Tyler, Roland's vice-captain. How do you think he'd cope with Roland's, ah, 'dark' little secret? OvO, that sounds so, so, not what is it but so what it is. I think Leaf's vice-captain would have a hard time keeping up with his incredibly kind captain, oh god Elmairy, I wonder how your vice-captain coped when you found out that Sun exchanged his eyesight for your life...*dies inside*

Actually, that never occurred to me. Not that I'm one for conspiracy-type theories much anyway. Adair is too willing to beat people up to be the god of light, in my opinion. Unless the god's reputation is as undeserved as the Twelve Holy Knights'... although reading Female Warrior, you kind of get concerned in that regard... Now, I couldn't help but wonder whether Austin was a god. I mean, Mike is the son of the god of war... But then again, maybe it's his mother who is the god of war? XD

wait.. who's Austin and Mike? I think I have some rereading to do .-. Also I personally don't think Adair is the God of Light but I do have some thoughts that would support it, though might be a bit stretched haha

Austin is a priest who is also the father of Son of God of War.. I don't think Adair is the God of Light.. unless the God of Light has a masochist side that enjoy being thrown off a cliff..

But Adair didn't enjoy being thrown off a cliff either... I wonder where the whole "Son of the God of War" thing started. It seems like normally it would be extremely arrogant to claim oneself to be the Son of the God of War, or at least sacrilegious.

I mean if Adair is really the God of Light he could prevent himself thrown into a cliff.. And if ge choose to take a human form and become holy knight of some knight platoon why didn't he choose to be in Neo's era? Since in V2 he claim that he actually want to join Neo's Sun Knight Platoon but born too late..
Hmm I don't have any speculation about the Son of the God of War.. maybe it mean Mike is born to war(battle)..? Afterall God of War usually is said follower among young one who is hot blooded and who desire battle.. If they are leaded by someone who is born to battle it would boost their spirit...?

Heh, Adair would be quite a bumbling God of Light, born too late to join the platoon he actually wanted to join. But it could be that even gods have a lot of red tape to go through. XD I've always wondered about the other two religions. The Church of the God of Light has the Twelve Holy Knights. That's a lot! Twelve very powerful knight-captains! While the Monastery of the God of War only has the Son of the God of War and the Cathedral of the Shadow God only has the Silent Eagle. Seems a bit imbalanced. I suppose this means the Son of the God of War and the Silent Eagle should both be super powerful. I wonder what other positions there are in the other two religions. dinojMike is the Son of the God of War and Austin is his father. They're mostly featured in volume 3~.

lucathia Ah thank you haha I feel like it's been years since I last read volume 3, well summer is coming Oh, and I never really gave much thought to the other churches, but I think it'd be interesting to read about them, and how they all interact and stuff:O Also I think it would be interesting to read about the first gens of the Son of the God of War and Silent Eagle and the other positions. And I think it was earlier in the series when the were dueling for the princess's hand in marriage, wasn't it mentioned that the Son of the God of War was really strong and even Judgement would have a really difficult time fighting him? Oh and since the Silent Eagles are supposed to be like punching bags for the Demon King, I'm sure they would have to choose very strong men with high endurance right? haha and now thinking about it, I feel like Sun makes the Cathedral of the Shadow God out to be super boring and very mechanical. Like we know there's the dark knights, the line of good looking silent eagles, the beautiful priests, and the liches and they're all just there for the Demon King's disposal.

Who do you think is stronger? Son of the God of War or Neo?

Just lose Neo in a forest and Mike can win. XD;
Before Neo lost an arm, I'd say Neo is stronger. After... harder to tell.
It'd be cool to learn more about the other two religions! Especially how they started.

The power imbalance between the Church of the God of Light and the Cathedral of the Shadow God shouldn't be too bad. Authoritative power is concentrated just on the Silent Eagle, but that doesn't mean combat power is. They still have a couple dozen shadowpriests, right?
But it does look bad for the Monastery of the God of War that the Son of the God of War basically got trashed by the leader of another religion, even if said leader had a LICH with him at the time.
By the way, does anyone find it suspicious how a lich was originally described as "an extremely powerful mage or cleric even before one’s rebirth" in V3C9? Not only does it not mention necromancers (which I suppose, probably can be counted as a type of mage), it specifically mentions clerics. What is the Pope exactly? You could say he's both a very strong mage and cleric. The strongest cleric out there, in fact, as long as you don't count that Sun Knight that could once outheal him.
So aside from the Resurrection side effect theory, the theory that the Pope is a lich doesn't seem that implausible, right? (I think I might have brought this up somewhere before, but I can't remember where. So I'll just risk repeating myself again.)

Hm, so to become a lich, the person has to have very strong magic. A strong affinity with elements, regardless of what kind of element. I guess even the holy element would do? But after becoming a lich, would they still be able to use holy element? The three liches don't seem to be able to command holy element. Just the dark element and other elements. Unless they never were able to command the holy element, even when they were alive. Heh, the Pope and his forever youthfulness. It is suspicious. Oh, and regarding V8C8 and Awaitsun. I loved learning more about Awaitsun and finding out that he is friends but not friends with Tayder. I imagine it might even look a little like Sun and Judgment's relationship (though not as extreme). In public, Awaitsun probably just ignores Tayder while they're actually good friends. The Kingdom of Kissinger really has it hard, always knowing that they're living their entire lives waiting for the Demon King. Tayder must have gone on quite some adventures though!

I feel kinda sad that we are almost done. Soon, we wont have any more new Sun Knight to read, leaving us sunless.

"leaving us sunless" Well it's true that it's going to be lonely, but if Yu Wo could soon start working on Female Warrior we might have a new S.U.N. to laugh about
