I am planning on entering the competition with a recipe will I have a bigger chance at winning if I made a video of me making the recipe or should I stick it simple?
And a embarrassing question: how do you spoiler hide something?

elsa98A recipe sounds awesome. How extravagant or detailed is up to you! A video would be very cool indeed, but pictures would also suffice. It'd be great to see the end result. To use the spoiler tag, you have to reply using the full reply option instead of the quick reply option. Click on the yellow reply button to the bottom right of the thread. That will take you to the full reply screen. The spoiler tag is on the very right. It's this face with a hand in front of it.

elsa98Ah, that works too. I'll update the contest guidelines with the code. Yeah, you'll need to upload the photos to an image hosting site. Same for video. Alternatively, you can add photos as attachments, but you can only attach up to three (and your recipe won't look as pretty without the images in the recipe itself). It's great to see a submission already! Thanks for participating. :D Yum~, blueberry truffles!

I really would like to participate but the timing is just... I mean I'm already sick and tired if having exams on my very birthday every year but now the deadline is on the 7th! Just 4 days apart! There is no way I'll make it! Thats just killing me! Is it possible to move the deadline? It would be perfect if it could be moved till September. I believe there will be much more entries that way.

EliSanSorry to hear the timing won't work out for you. Good luck with your deadlines! My birthday is always final exam time too. It sucks. :'( I can only say, there will be more contests in the future, though submission formats might not be as broad as this one. If we're not crazily busy during December, perhaps an end of the year contest once again! We'll see.

I'll still try. I love such events. It won't be anything to eye-catching I guess but something is always better then nothing. PR! does such a good and hard work translating for us so this is a way we can say "thanks". I hope there will be lots and lots of entries.

-cough cough- I can't wait to try that recipe. It looks awesome.
Question: accompaniment pieces, yay or nay? I think what I mean is self-explanatory, but it never hurts to explain. I'll use examples: a cover for a comic (which I assume would be allowed. But then, if word entries have a word limit, would comics have a page limit...?), a series of something (like, the twelve holy knight-captains as drawings or sculptures or something, but it would be regarded as one project, just with more detail.) Were I to enter, I would probably do something like a comic with a colored cover and a written... Well, basically a written version in case the images can't be viewed, and I know my handwriting can be illegible at times. This is if everything was added all at once. Obviously,if someone adds something days later, it probably wasn't originally a part of a project.

EliSanIt doesn't have to be super extravagant~. I'd love to see you enter. :D I always assume that entries will flood in when it gets closer to the deadline, haha. thebookgirlThat sounds like one entry to me. That'll be fine and pretty cool to see. Ooo, a comic, huh? Page limit? Good question. We don't have a set page limit for comics. You just need to make sure it's a reasonable length! (meaning, not too long. XD;; People should be able to read it fairly quickly)

mochaPlease mark it as a spoiler, and people who don't mind can open the spoiler tag. We will do two votes, one public one and one by staff. Whether or not the public decides to view your entry would be up to them!
