...then her lingering obsession that allowed her to become a Death monarch must have been the desire to kill Silvie many, many times over, and Roland would perhaps be the rightful heir to the Judgement Knight's position. (Provided Roland's ancestors were born before Carol became a Death Monarch. Can undead creatures reproduce? I seem to remember they have no genders...)
If Ohmygod self-replicated via binary fission and produced many miniature versions of itself...
