The question: Out of all of Yu Wo's characters, which would be the most likely to win in a fight? Could that character win consistently? Could that character win in a 1v1 tournament? Could that character emerge victorious from an all-out-no-holds-barred brawl against all other characters? Who would win for their scheming plans? Who would win just by the sheer power they possess? Who would win through the blessings of luck and idiosyncrasies of fate?
Those are the factors you should keep in mind as you try to crown a single victor!
Defend your choice well and let the battle begin!

If this was a 1v1 tournament on pure physical prowess, Grisia stands no chance. That I know for certain. But for this kind of fight...it is hard to say who would win. But I can say that in the long run, Grisia would most likely emerge victorious. None can be more a shameless, despicable bastard than him. Hmm, this seems like the question I asked about whether Grisia or Devon was a better Chessmaster...
I think I'm going to root for the Holy Knights, particularly their leader. Go Grisia! I'll be on the sidelines cheering for (or maybe with?) you. (P.S. Just don't step into the arena yourself)

I figured you were asking about some type of competition between the two, and this discussion pops up every now and then in the comments section at PR!. I thought it would be better to move it to a separate thread. (Since this debate might go on for a long time...)
I don't know about Grisia being the strongest. It seems to me that if Meatbun tried to sit on Grisia after using Fermentation, the most Grisia would be able to do would be to try to fly out from under Meatbun as fast as possible...

Is this including those way over powered characters? I mean honestly there's that Slimy God, crazy lunatic Magician, and a freaking Dictator of Life that most probably won't stand a chance with in a 1v1 battle. I'm also debating on whether the flower could be ranking up there as well. Also by 1v1 tournament, what do you mean? Will it be a physical fight, battle with magic, battle of wits and brains, a psychological tournament, or just everything combined?
I think excluding those really OP characters, I would also root for Grisia, partially cause I'm a bit bias and also because I think Sun's ability to wield magic is pretty amazing. I really wonder how Sun would turn out if he was an apprentice of Gle's. Probably really scary ~.~
As for Meatbunbun sitting on him, I totally imagined it and couldn't stop laughing XD but Sun could insta-teleport with no limitations so I don't he'd let himself get sat on since he would definitely not look very graceful and for fear of his teacher murdering him several times over, I think he would insta-teleport before landing in such a predicament.

Hmm, Sun could probably create a really thick barrier, or cast the Shield of Light on himself, since he could make it so thick that one would be unable to feel any pain no matter how hard they are hit...so I guess it depends on how much damage Meatbun-bun's Fermentation can do, but unless Meatbun-bun could use dark magic, I don't think that would have much of an effect on Grisia. However, if this was a cuteness contest, Meatbun-bun would probably trash all of them, but Ohmygod is also some serious competition...

Nice comparison of cuteness levels there Cherry ^^
Personally, I think Carol would be pretty strong in a physical battle (so would Judgement and Roland) but I don't know about her levels of magic haha I don't think I will be cheering for anyone in particular, but Ohmygod seems fairly indestructible at this point....ah, so is Undying Man and his sparkling shoujo eyes XD.

If talking about levels of indestructibility, Ohmygod is undefeatable (<---reference; I have fulfilled my reference quota, I am so happy). No one can possibly expect to destroy a jelly/slime. Besides, it is the benevolent God of Light, it would literally be like comparing toys with gods (sorry Roland, another reference). Who would want to attack such a cute and beautiful being? It would be a crime too great to even be punishable by the Judgement Knight! Although shoujo eyes...(looks at Ohmygod's sparkly shoujo eyes on profile picture)

But then...although Ohmygod is pretty much indestructible, it can't exactly attack, as far as we know...the best it could do is probably suffocate someone inside it...and it doesn't have any obvious weapons...

Well, I am still rooting for Grisia to become mastermind champion, so as much as I love Ohmygod, I'm afraid the competition would just end in a stalemate if it participates, since ultimately neither party can destroy the other. And what are the rules for the competition? Would Ohmygod be allowed to participate since gods aren't supposed to directly interfere? Although, Ohmygod's ability is obviously super-cuteness, which would flatten everyone within a 50km radius and make them loyal worshippers (but it's not allowed to do that is it?).

I think in terms of strength it would be Ah Ye or Liola. But I wonder who would win between Grisia and Kaiser

It depends. If it were on how lost people could be...I would pick nimue, Prince, Neo. And I'm not joking about my ability to get lost...T.T, I have gotten lost so many times. Literally so many times. T.T
It all depends really on what type it is, if it were to kill a person silently? I would pick Sin, Kenshin, Kenshin's buddy who wanted Kenshin manifested as a woman instead something-Wolf or other? Arctic Wolf! He is hot. And perhaps X, or Charles. There are a lot of things, but it would be easier to have this thread moving faster if it were specified what kinds of battle there were. Strategic ones? Mind wise? Lucky? Paintball? Flags? It would have it quicker. And also, please state which series they are from and what makes them so powerful, intelligent, witty, etc.

Grisia. Definitely and obviously Grisia. As for the reason.. most have already been given by my fellow fans. Besides what reason do we need other that him being the awesome (God of Light's favoured) Grisia?

Actually . . . Grisia wouldn't win in a lot of things and he would be confounded by the technology that surrounds us. For all his OPedness, we never actually see him dealing very well with certain emotional troubles and his moral compass is basically gone kafloom. He deals with a lot of emotional turmoil in vol eight, in ways that aren't ethical nor well. Others would have dealt with it better, and Grisia . . . As much as I unabashedly adore him, he's not exactly a character I actually want to meet. And his ways of getting things . . . They're scary.

I actually also think that Grisia would win, provided he isn't required to use his (non-existent) physical prowess. The reasons being: He can cast Shield of Earth and Light Shield at a level were it would already be impossible for the vast majority of people to scratch him (exceptions being sword experts with a crazy stron battle aura or something similar). I guess those who could still pose a threat to him (physically) after he cast those two spells are limited to Judgement, Roland, Carol, Liola, and possibly the seriously strong characters from 1/2 Prince (Prince, Cold Fox, Kenshin), provided those have a means to break his spells. And to avoid those, he would only have to fly (unless we allow Liola to team up with Baolilong, then he would be a serious threat) and then proceed to attack them from a safe distance. The only character who I can imagine to provide a serious threat is Gle, as Gle is actually the only all around genius in all of Yu Wo's series (that I have read). Okay, Gle could beat Grisia, but I won't include him because I don't think Gle could be convinced to participate (he'd probably send Liola in his stead).
In an all-out-brawl, I think Grisia would use his scheming ways to win (and the fact that he has a few pretty strang people at his disposal who obey him more or less unconditionally (Adair more, the others not quite as much, but I think they would still help him win))
Apart from that, I agree with nimue. Grisia is scary and I don't think I'd want to meet him in real life. I still adore him, though. And hasn't his moral compass already gone kafloom before this series even started?

Out of all of her characters? If it involved money, Kaiser would definitely win. Even in a battle against Sun, Kaiser would probably find a way to win. If not, then it could really be anyone, but Liola, Cold Fox, Kenshin, Carol, and other characters like that would probably come out near the top if it were like a competition. Even if they're mostly physical fighters and don't use magic, magic can't do much if the opponent can move faster than you can cast.
If it were a team thing, then it really is impossible to choose (for me, at least). Odd Squad's really strong, especially if you go by what they end up being at the end of the series. But the Twelve Holy Knights are strong too, and have the numbers advantage. Maybe I just like Odd Squad too much?
