Hello! I have a series of flash fics I'd like to submit! Would it be alright for me to submit it one chapter at a time, each day, until the last day? The whole submission will not exceed 2000 words. And rather than make a new post for each one, I'd just edit the original post. The flash fics are also all related under the same theme. If submitting more than one short story is against the rules, I could just post the first one. Or if only the last submission would count, I could just post the whole thing at once. I understand if not because it is a bit of an unorthodox request. The reason why I want to space it out is cuz I think it reads better that way and to create a sort of countdown till the last day. Cuz countdowns are fun, so I thought, why not ask? :3

That way the entire post won't take up too much room, and it's easy to see at a glance that there is a new section every day. Best of luck!

Hi! How is everyone making their spoiler tags blue highlighted? I used the spoiler code but just ended up with the spoiler link. It doesn't really matter but I was just wonder how they were doing it.

Took me forever to figure out! What finally worked for me was: 1. creating the spoiler tag by clicking the button on the far right. the one with the face and hand 2. going to the Preview Tab (not the BBCode tab) 3. finding where these brackets { } are (it probably says "Spoiler!" in between those brackets if you've already used the spoiler tag) 4. changing it to the title of your choice (for example {Fancy blue title} ) Hope it works!

Thanks Trespasserby! Oh that's a really good idea! Hopefully I'll be able to figure out the coding for it tomorrow.

Hello, I might be submitting something that'll include quite a bit of pictures. I really terrible at coding so I was wondering if it would okay for me to have it on a google doc and just submit the link for the google doc on the submissions page.

Is the deadline for the submissions by midnight on July 7th or is the deadline before that? I had some family matters pop up in the past few weeks so I'm really squeaking by x.x

dinoj It's preferable for images to be displayed there for easier voting. If you give us links to your images, we can assist with the coding if you have any troubles. shyfeatherSorry for any confusion. It is when the 7th ends in all time zones.

Hi all, after some discussion, we have decided to extend the deadline to the end of July 9th, when the 9th ends in all time zones. To help figure out when the deadline is in your time zone, you can visit this link. What time is it for me? We hope this will help everyone who is still finishing their submissions and anyone who is having difficulties with figuring out how to post their submission in the forum. It's great seeing so many submissions come in!

Thank you so much for extending the deadline!!! I really wanted to enter and I'm totally new to the forum. Now, I have a chance to enter. By the way, would it be ok if I posted my work to a personal site? It's for ease of access though it's actually easier for me if I kept it as an .exe file (however, I'm pretty sure everyone hates downloading random stuff so I figured making a completely new website and hosting on there would be easier on the judges and for other fans to play). I'm making a game and I can't really figure out how I can add it to the forum without forcing everyone to download it. Also, I'm a coder and not an artist ^^; Would it be ok if I use sprites from maplestory and stuff like that? One last thing, could I make a video of the game and attach it to the submission? (that's if I have time) I can't guarantee the game will work for all browsers so those who can't play it will have to make do with a video. I CAN'T EVEN GUARANTEE THAT I'LL FINISH IT. I'M SO SORRY FOR ALL THESE QUESTIONS OTL.

SiLYour type of submission sounds like it would work better off the forums, yes. If you have some way we can access it without anyone having to download it, that would be best! Just include a link here. You can include a description and any promotional materials you might have, like the video you mentioned or any graphics. Using sprites from other games sounds okay. I assume you'll be editing them?
